Cool Bands and Cool People.. Can you tell I'm bad at naming these?

Still unsure of what to write, so this is a recap of 5 things that happened last month.

1. Bought a couple new CD's, one being 'Featuring "Birds"' by Quasi, very good album, do recommend.

2. Discovered a VERY, VERY underrated Band called 'Even Rude'. They make Ska and a bit of Nu Metal, listen to Bump and Uglies (on Youtube only) that Comp has the most diversity in their music. Do it now.

3. Got a Root Canal. Not Fun. Do not recommend.

4. I can't think of anything to put here, thank you.

5. Started dating a girl I really like, so that's awesome. Very cool. Super tuff.

Anyways, that's it. Kinda a short post, but yk, Not very good at writing these. See you later.

New Site, Who Dis?

Kinda unsure what to write here, so I'm going to talk about the Best Band of all time, Hum.

Unfortunately for us all, not everyone knows about Hum, so here's a couple things about them;

Hum was formed in Champaign Illinois, in 1989.

Two years later, in 1991, they released their First Album 'Fillet Show'

(Which UNFORTUNATELY FOR US ALL, is not on Spotify, and is very hard to find a Physical Copy of.)

Two Years later, in 1993, they released their Second Album, 'Electra 2000'

This is the Heavier of the Four Albums on spotify, that's about it. Winder is good.

Two Years after that, in 1995 they released their most Well-Known Album 'You'd Prefer An Astronaut'

Which has the song 'Stars' on it, this put the band on the Radar, and gained them most of the fame they have now. It made it to Number 11 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.

Then, in 1998, they released their final Album of the '90s 'Downward Is Heavenward'

(Which is my Favorite Hum Album)

They disbanded in 2000, but played a couple shows here and there over the years.

Then, in 2020, They released their first album in over 22 years. Inlet

(Which made it to Number 15 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart and at No. 30 on the Billboard Current Album Sales chart.)

Now, in 2026, they are FINALLY playing some more shows (The last shows they performed at were in 2015) for the Slide Away Festival, they're playing with Chapterhouse, and Nothing. I need to go.

They also influenced Deftones' 'White Pony', which is rad.

Anyways, that's it. Thanks for reading this (Or skimming through)
